Whether in film, advertising or high-end commercials, digitally generated environments grab attention and stay in the memory. Digital environments combined with real footage allow you to create extraordinary visual experiences for your audience.
3D Environment Creation refers to the process of creating three-dimensional virtual environments for various applications such as movies, games, simulations, architectural visualizations and more. It involves the creation of three-dimensional models of objects, landscapes, buildings and characters that can be placed in the virtual environment.
3D environment creation involves a variety of steps, from concept development and sketching, to modeling objects and textures, to lighting and animation.
The 3D environments created can then be used in various applications and platforms, such as video games, movies, virtual reality applications, and architectural visualizations.
For more than 20 years I have dedicated myself as a 3D artist to the subject of digital environments and have specialized in the highest standards through constant further development.
"Fusion of different worlds"
Real footage combined with digital assets are the measure of all things in the advertising and film industry. Here worlds merge, the possibilities are endless.
3D camera tracking, also known as matchmoving, is a process in which the movements of the real camera are tracked during the recording of a video and transferred to a virtual 3D environment. This makes it possible to seamlessly integrate 3D objects or elements into a real scene for stunning visual impact.
In practice, 3D camera tracking is often used in film productions and advertising campaigns to integrate visual effects and animations into real environments. The process begins with the recording of reference materials that will form the eventual 3D model of the real scene. Then, these reference materials are analyzed to capture the camera and object movements in the scene.
This data can then be used to create a virtual 3D environment that corresponds to the real scene. The 3D elements, such as buildings, vehicles or people, are integrated into this virtual environment and animated to match the movement of the real camera. Finally, the 3D elements are combined with the real scene and refined with post-production and compositing techniques to achieve seamless integration.
The use of 3D camera tracking has pushed the boundaries of visual effects, opening up new possibilities in the film and advertising industries. With this technology, it is possible to achieve realistic and stunning visual effects that were previously impossible.
